In meditation yesterday morning I received a strong and clear message: We can turn darkness into Light.
Tikkun Olam: take the darkness and make it whole.
One of the most powerful teachings I encountered while studying Judaism is the concept of Tikkun Olam—a Hebrew phrase that means “take the darkness and make it whole,” or said another way: “turn the darkness into light.” This idea teaches that we each carry the responsibility to leave the world a little better than we found it.

Create the World In Which You Want to Live
For me, Tikkun Olam means being present, being compassionate, and noticing what’s around you. It means blessing the stranger with a small act of kindness—a bottle of water, a warm smile, or simply a kind presence.
Every day get an inviation to practice showing up as a microcosm of the Divine. For example, if you find yourself surrounded by rude strangers, you become the kind one. If you work in a competitive, cutthroat environment, you become the one who welcomes the new person with open arms. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about being willing. Willing to be the first to change. Willing to be the one who holds the light.
Why Darkness Is Actually Light in Disguise
Many spiritual teachings suggest that God is in everything, even in what we perceive as “darkness” or “evil.”
Scientifically speaking, energy makes up matter—and light defines that energy (Remember E=mc²?). Therefore, even what we perceive as darkness contains light at its core.
God Is In All Things (Yes, Even him…)
If we believe God is everything, then even the ugliest parts of humanity are still part of that vast, infinite Source. Threfore, God would want to experience everything—joy, grief, brilliance, confusion—because that’s how expansion happens.
That’s why, no matter how far someone (or something) seems to have strayed, there’s always a return path. All things are ultimately moving toward the light.

You Are A Match in the Dark
A single match illuminates a dark room, however, the opposite is not true. You can’t take an already lit room and impose darkness upon it.
Here on Earth there dance between dark and light is a gift. It’s an opportunity to remember who we really are—and to reflect that remembrance back to others. When you see darkness in the world, know this: You become the light in those moments.
You’re Invited
If you’re reading this, you’re not here by accident. You can anchor the light grid—to radiate presence, love, and kindness, no matter what’s going on around you.
So go ahead:
